1000 Calories Per Day Meal Plan - Vegan Liquid Diet

brown rice protein mThis 1000 calories per day meal plan is based on vegan protein powders and is suitable for Vegan Liquid Diet. Note that this is very low calorie intake, unless you are really 'tiny' person, in which case you don't have to go on a calorie restricted diet at all.

Liquid diets based on protein powders, various fiber sources, healthy fats pills or oils, multivitamins and multimineral supplements are expensive diets, especially if vegan (plant) protein supplements are used. Also, they are not the healthiest diets for longer period of time - up to 4 weeks is acceptable, but be sure to consult your doctor about such diets. But, results can be great - 10kg (22 pounds) are 'easily' lost per 4 weeks of such diets.

Notes for '1000 Calories Vegan Liquid Diet Meal Plan':

- unless you are 60kg (or less) person, trying to lose some weight, 1000 kcal is to low, regardless of your goals. EOD :)

- as one can see, BCAAs are added in every shake to protect muscles. One should use 'ordinary' BCAA (Isoleucine : Leucine : Valine ratio of 1:2:1), since BCAA content of plant protein powders could be better.

glutamine is also used in last shake, better safe than sorry. To protect body even more, one should also get some good vegan multivitamin and multimineral supplement.

- protein content is relatively high and that is good. There are enough carbohydrates to keep 60kg person out of ketosis. If you feel lightheaded and weak, what did you expected on 1000cal diet? To increase energy, add some oats in first two daily shakes, just be sure about your macros. Fats are moderate - if one doesn't mind few calories more, I would add few omega-3 and CLA pills (derived from plants, of course).

- dieting pills, especially energy pills, will provide just enough energy to endure throughout the day. If you are sensitive to caffeine, you are lucky, just be careful about your daily caffeine intake.

- selection of plant protein powders - be careful about this. In this example, every shake is made out of different protein plant supplement, manufactured by another company. They all have different amino acid profiles, but just to be sure, 5g of BCAAs are added in every shake. Also, some plant protein supplements have 'greens' added to them, thus increasing their mineral and vitamin content. Hemp proteins are in general rich in healthy fats and they are recommended for evening shakes.

- this meal plan is rich in fibers, which is good for various reasons - fibers will keep you satiated for longer, they help in digestion, they keep digestive system healthy etc. That is why there are two shakes with fiber supplement added - to increase fiber content of those individual shakes.

- almonds can be eaten whole, or as a part of last shake. I don't know about you, but I like to chew my food - so, drink your shake and have those few almonds as dessert ...

Long story short - diet of this kind will help you lose fats very quickly. It has high protein content and amino acid profiles are improved by addition of BCAA. If you can find vegan essential amino acids supplements, even better. But, 1000 calories per day is very low, especially if you are physically active.
