As one can see, all flavors have very similar macronutrient content and deliver around 110 and 120 kcal per packet. Carbohydrate sources are maltodextrin and fructose, providing rapid energy boost. Also, sodium and potassium are present - personally, I would add some magnesium here.

If you need additional burst of energy, consider flavors with caffeine (25mg or 50mg flavors).

Few more notes:

- the packets are very easy to open, even with sweaty hands during running, swimming, cycling etc.

- wash the mouth with some water after consuming the gel - this will remove sweet taste from your mouth and help you with rehydration.

- never, but really never take these for the first time on the run day - on the 'run days' don't even change flavors!!! Packets are relatively cheap, so use them and test them while training. They are easy on stomach, but no tests should be done on 'event day'.

Recommendation - it is vital to have decent solid meal before long lasting sport event. Then, when you feel that you need more energy, these gels can be of a great help.

They come in 24 packets boxes, they are relatively cheap and if you like caffeine, there are flavors with caffeine. Consuming single packet every 30-60 minutes can make huge difference in the end results!
