natures best isopure zero carb whey 3Even the Dutch Chocolate contains only 3g of carbs (of which, 2g are fibers). All flavors provide 50g of protein per 2 scoops - if that is too much protein for your needs, add less powder, of course.

Fats are low, too, with just 1g of fats per serving, of which 0.5g are saturated fats. Isopure whey contains no trans fats.

Mixability is good in the shaker with plastic mesh to aid the mixing with water. After short (5-6 seconds) but strong shaking, there are no lumps or chunks of the protein powder in the shaker. Some foam is created, but it settles down after few seconds.

Taste is very good for such pure protein supplement. That means that the taste in real life is acceptable. Just mix it with water and drink it and don't complicate things. If the powder is mixed with fast carbs, some flavors are actually good - Dutch Chocolate, for example (said by chocoholic author of this article). Due to vitamin, mineral and amino acids added, taste tend to be slightly salty/chalky, especially low flavored flavors and especially the purest of them all - Unflavored Isopure powder. But, the taste is far from being 'horrible', 'undrinkable' or anything similar :)

Use - since this is pure whey protein isolate, it should be used only for Post Workout Meal (PWM) shakes, with or without added fast carbs, BCAAs, creatine monohydrate, glutamine etc. It can be used for breakfasts and daily snacks, if it is slowed down using other foods, too. But, this is 100% whey isolate and it should be used for PWMs only, while Meal Replacement Powders (MRPs) and perhaps whey blends can be used for daily meals and snacks. If you like bedtime protein shakes, go for 100% casein supplements.

Long Story Short - Nature's Best Isopure Zero Carb Protein Powder is excellent whey protein isolate - it provides plenty of whey protein with almost no carbs or fats. Regardless if you are just casual runner on your home treadmill or active athlete, Isopure is recommended as part of your diet. there are cheaper whey supplements on the market, but this is 100% pure whey isolate, reinforced with vitamins and minerals. Nice! :)
