XTERRA Fitness TR300 Folding Treadmill
XTERRA Fitness TR300 Folding Treadmill features a very well-balanced design, offering the users comfortable running surfaces, a large number of workout programs, motorized incline change, easy controls, assisted folding mechanism,s and a few other, very interesting features.
Although XTERRA Fitness TR300 Folding Treadmill is far from being cheap, it doesn't feature Bluetooth connectivity, with no optional chest strap heart rate monitor support, and no smartphone app or cloud support. And some users prefer it just because of that!

XTERRA TR300 Treadmill Features and Specifications
When the unit arrives, it must be assembled - if you like DIY projects, just be sure to follow instructions. However, if you don't like DIY activities, feel free to order a certified technician to assemble the unit and test-run it for you.
Assembled unit weighs 207 pounds (~93.7 kg) with physical dimensions of (L x W x H) 72.2 x 35 x 54.1 inches (~183.4 x 88.9 x 137.4 cm).
Unit is anything but small and light - it features welded heavy gauge steel frame, supporting the maximum user weight of 300 pounds (~136 kg). The treadmill frame is covered by a lifetime warranty.
The running deck is foldable, reducing the unit's footprint. Unit also features a 'Lift Assist' system for quick, easy, and safe folding and unfolding of the running deck, helping with the storage.
Although Xterra TR300 features transport wheels, due to its weight and dimensions, it is recommended to position the unit on a permanent location, preferably on some good treadmill mat.
The running deck is 20 inches wide and 55 inches long - 51 x 140 cm. Personally, such a running deck is wide enough for most of the runners, but 55 inches long running deck could be slightly short for people with longer strides.
Nonetheless, most runners find 20x55 inches running deck comfortable for a good home walking/jogging/running workout.
Running belt is 2-ply Duraweave heavy-duty treadmill belt, supported by 1.8 inches rollers - IMHO, rollers could be larger, but generally, they cause no issues regarding belt adjustment, longevity, and similar.
Unit is powered via 2.25 CHP continuous duty commercial grade motor, which is covered by a lifetime warranty - treadmill motors in this class are rarely covered by a lifetime warranty, and it is nice to have one.
Speed range is between 0 and 10 mph (0-16 km/h), supporting walking, jogging, and light running workouts.
Unit also features a motorized incline adjustment system, which is able to change incline during workouts between 0 and 10%.
In order to protect joints, the running deck features so-called XTRASoft deck cushioning technology, providing multiple points of cushioning for maximum impact absorption.
XTERRA TR300 Treadmill features a simple and easy to use console.
The easy-to-read, 5.5 inches (~14 cm) bright blue LCD display tracks all required workout data including time, current speed, covered distance, burned calories, current incline, and pulse.
Console features 24 preset, 1 manual, and 1 heart rate controlled program for a wide variety of workouts - nonetheless if you are just starting to exercise, check your health at your doctor's office.
XTERRA TR300 Treadmill features a console audio jack, allowing the user to plug in any portable device with a headphone jack (phone, MP3 player, etc) and to listen to favorite music through the console integrated speakers.
Speed and incline controls are positioned on both the console and the handlebars. Console controls feature quick set button controls and buttons for gradual (up and down) speed and incline control. Handlebars controls allow only gradual speed and incline control. Also, handlebars feature contact heart rate monitors, while Bluetooth heart rate monitors are not supported.
The console also features a cooling fan for more comfortable workouts and two bottle holders.
Media rack helps the user to place a smartphone, tablet, or similar device on the console and enjoy more content during the exercise. However, if the tablet is placed, 5.5 inches LSD display is covered
As said before, the Xterra TR300 treadmill comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame and motor, while other parts, electronics, and labor come with a 1-year warranty - this is a very good warranty for units like this one.
Long Story Short: if you are looking for a good and well balanced, simple to use and maintain treadmill that comes with a very affordable price, check the Xterra TR300 treadmill.
It supports users up to 300 pounds, with a maximum speed of 10 mph and a maximum incline of 10%.
It doesn't feature some 'advanced' features like Bluetooth connectivity, and it doesn't enable the user to run around using Google Maps or anything similar, but it provides the means for the user to have good, regular running cardio sessions at the privacy of home.
