Labrada Power Carb is a homogenous, relatively-complex carbohydrate made up of thousands of monosaccharides joined together to form large molecules. The molecular mass (molecule size and weight) of Labrada Power Carb support gastric transit through the stomach at a rate much greater than more common carbohydrates such as maltodextrins, breads, pasta, or rice.

Labrada Power Carb carbohydrates are derived from potato, corn, and rice. Supplement comes in Fruit Punch and Lemon Lime flavors and as Unflavored in 2.2 lbs and 4.4 lbs packages.

Labrada Power Carb should be taken:
- in Post Workout Meal (PWM) shake with whey protein, creatine monohydrate, C vitamin, BCAA etc. It will increase insulin and replenish muscle glycogen with lower amounts compared with glucose (dextrose), maltodextrins and similar fast carbs.
- before workouts with whey, BCAA and guarana (caffeine) instead of some NOx supplement, to boost energy levels.

NOTE: if you are on a low carb diet, try to mix Labrada SuperCharge and one serving (27g) of Labrada Power Carb prior to workout - you will not feel any 'promised' kick of energy, but your energy levels will go sky-high - and stay there for at least 80-90 minutes (depending on your weight, workout intensity, etc.). This is one of the best, if not THE best combinations to take before workout, at least for me. When you think that you are finished, try to have few more sets AND reps, or if you are on a track, try to have few more sprints or laps - you will manage to do them! And I am talking about 100+kg endomorph on Carbohydrate Cycling Diet and low carb day (less than 100g carbs on a training day!)! Great thing is that I don't feel any crash even after 100 minutes after drinking this mix - but I prefer to have my PWM right after my workouts. For those people that have workouts that last longer than 90 minutes, I honestly recommend to take Labrada Power Carb (or any similar carbohydrate source) with some powdered BCAA and good whey protein and drink it slowly from time to time during workouts, with plenty of water.

So, in the end, Labrada Power Carb is not 'just another expensive sugar'.

Labrada Power Carb - highly recommended for those wanting to increase regeneration rates without increasing calories, as an energy boost before or during workouts or athletic evens, to make even better PWM shakes than before, etc.

It is pricey, but as with many Labrada's supplements - what you pay is what you get...
