Naked Nutrition Micellar Casein Protein is an exceptionally high-quality casein protein supplement in powdered form. It is derived from milk from US farms, and it is a non-GMO product that is also soy-free, gluten-free, growth hormone-free, and contains no rBGH (or rBST).

Note: rBGH (Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone) or rBST (Recombinant Bovine Somatotropin) is a genetically engineered artificial hormone injected into dairy cows to make them produce more milk - it is still allowed in the US, but it is forbidden in countries like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, Argentina and in the European Union because of its dangers.

Naked Nutrition Micellar Casein Protein doesn't contain lecithin (commonly from soy and/or sunflower), which is often found in casein supplements - lecithin aids in mixing casein powder with water.

Thus, Naked Micellar Casein does not mix easily in a shaker - forget glass and spoon! For the best results, use a small hand blender - it will mix the powder thoroughly with water, milk, or any other ingredient without clumps and without much foam.

Some users claim that this product mixes easily - well, when compared with Optimum Nutrition Casein, it does not mix easily!

Taste is acceptable - most people take casein powder and mix it with water prior to bed and drink it without too much complicating things. Such bedtime shake is a slowly digesting meal that feeds the body for at least, next 7-8 hours. And amounts of added sugar or fats are minimal - excellent for people on low-calorie and Keto diets. Even people trying to gain weight can significantly benefit from regularly taking casein powder before going to sleep.

Note that casein protein thickens shakes and smoothies, so it takes some time to learn to add the right amount of water.

Other than for plain bedtime shakes, Naked Nutrition Micellar Casein Protein is excellent for mixing with other foods like fruits, oats, milled nuts, peanut butter and for increasing protein content in meals throughout the day, like in protein pancakes, ice creams, homemade slow-digesting protein bars, etc.

Price - if there is something not so good with Naked Nutrition Micellar Casein Protein then it is his price. This casein supplement costs almost double the price of most budget-friendly and much more popular casein supplements.
